Clinical Training:
The first two years of training are housed within the Pediatric Residency Training Program where your schedule is tailored to comply with the American Board of Pediatrics requirements for General Pediatrics for the Pediatrics-Child Neurology Pathway. Upon successful completion of these two years, you will transition into your first year within the Child Neurology Residency Training Program as a PGY-3.

Through a structured curriculum and strong mentorship, residents actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to clinical research, and engage in implementation science. This comprehensive approach equips our trainees with the skills to analyze systems, generate new knowledge, and apply evidence to practice, preparing them to be thoughtful, effective leaders in academic and clinical settings.
Completion of a scholarly project is a graduation requirement and a core component of residency training. Projects are individualized based on each resident’s interests, skills, and career goals, with flexibility in topic and methodology.
