Women In Pediatrics

Department of Pediatrics

Vision:

The Department of Pediatrics Women’s Committee was initially established in January 2017 and more recently in 2019 was re-named the Women In Pediatrics (WIP) group.  The WIP officially falls under the auspices of Faculty Development within the Department of Pediatrics.  The current co-chairs for the WIP, Dr. Julia Rosebush and Dr. Ahmeneh Ghavam have actively engaged members of the WIP in a multitude of events ranging from workshops and speaker presentations to community service opportunities for members and their families to participate in.  As the landscape of women in the field of medicine continues to evolve so will the WIP and its programming to best support its members.
