Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship

How to Apply

The Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship Program is not participating in the 2027 ERAS cycle.

We invite you to learn more about our program, meet our faculty, fellows, and staff and explore our hospital using the links below. On years during which we have an open fellowship position, we participate in the National Residency Matching Program as part of the Pediatric Subspecialties Fall Match.  All applications must be submitted through ERAS.

Applicants must possess a MD or DO degree and be eligible to obtain licensure to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.  The candidate must be a resident in Pediatrics (PL2 or higher) or have completed Pediatric Residency training at an ACGME accredited program.  Upon completion of training, candidates must be eligible to take the American Board of Pediatrics Board examination.  The University of Chicago is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.  We encourage applications from under-represented minorities.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis as of the program start date. For those requiring sponsorship, J-1 visas are preferred.

Interview Dates will be scheduled directly through Thalamus - please contact the program with questions.

All interviews will be conducted virtually on Zoom and will take place in the AM only.

While we are unable to host applicants for in-person interviews, if you find yourself in the area and want to explore the Hospital Campus and University of Chicago Hyde Park Campus, here are some tips/resources:
