On years during which we have an open fellowship position, we participate in the National Residency Matching Program as part of the Pediatric Subspecialties Fall Match. All applications must be submitted through ERAS.
Applicants must possess a MD or DO degree and be eligible to obtain licensure to practice medicine in the state of Illinois. The candidate must be a resident in Pediatrics (PL2 or higher) or have completed Pediatric Residency training at an ACGME accredited program. Upon completion of training, candidates must be eligible to take the American Board of Pediatrics Board examination. The University of Chicago is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis as of the program start date. For those requiring sponsorship, J-1 visas are preferred.
