Our Mission

The Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program is committed to delivering compassionate, exceptional healthcare while honoring each patient's dignity, particularly within the unique and diverse patient population near the University of Chicago in the South Side of Chicago. We embrace curiosity by fostering a mindset of continuous learning, exploration, and research. Fellows can cultivate a deep, ongoing inquisitiveness that drives personal and professional growth, ultimately leading to excellence in patient care and innovative advancements in the field. We ensure that all patients receive care that is fair and just, while fostering an environment where we grow together as a community of learners and caregivers. We embody equity by creating a healthcare environment where all patients receive fair, just, and personalized care, regardless of their background or circumstances. Through this comprehensive approach, we train exemplary physicians who lead with compassion and serve as dedicated ambassadors for their patients and communities.
