How To Apply

We invite you to learn more about our program, meet our faculty, and explore our hospital using the links below.  We will be participating the National Residency Matching Program as part of the Medicine and Pediatric Subspecialties Fall Match.  All applications must be submitted through ERAS.

Applicants must possess an MD or DO degree and be eligible to obtain licensure to practice medicine in the state of Illinois. The candidate must be a current resident (PL2 or higher) or have completed residency training in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine at an ACGME accredited program. Upon completion of training, candidates must be eligible to take the American Board of Pediatrics Board examination or American Board of Internal Medicine Board examination. For candidates that lack these specific qualifications, such as those applying from outside of the United States, applications may be considered on an individual basis. The University of Chicago is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer. We encourage applications from under-represented minorities.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis as of the program start date.  If sponsorship is required, J-1 visas are preferred.
