I was born and raised in North Carolina, and I moved to Chicago for residency to become a part of the Comer family. Through my experiences in medical school and residency, I have developed a passion for health education, transition care, and mentorship. While not working or sleeping, I love biking with my husband (who serves as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Oak Park) or walking my dogs (2 Labrador retrievers) on Lakefront Trail, eating our way through the city’s many neighborhoods, and hosting friends and family in our Berwyn home.
