The Department of Pediatrics Diversity and Inclusion Committee hosts an ongoing Educational Series focusing on topics of diversity, inclusion, and equity in healthcare settings. This series brings together the Department of Pediatrics and all members of Comer Children's Hospital to deepen the dialogue surrounding these important topics.
Sessions are a mixture of interdisciplinary case conferences in the Health Equity Rounds series, as well as important speakers from the community addressing pertinent topics. We seek to recognize the importance of confronting structural racism and implicit bias to address health inequities.
