Welcome

The Pediatrics Clerkship at the University of Chicago is an 8-week course. Four weeks are spent at one of our affiliated outpatient sites, and four weeks are spent at either Comer Children’s Hospital, NorthShore University Health System, or La Rabida Hospital. During this time, students spend time with hands-on patient care, in small group discussions with our faculty members, and in teaching sessions with our outstanding residents. We teach students the basic tools with which to understand childhood health, development and illnesses.
