K12 Applications

Dear Section Chiefs and Cluster Administrators,

The Department of Pediatrics is currently soliciting applications for their K12 award for the time period 7/1/07 – 6/30/08.  The competition is open to junior faculty who are no more than three years beyond subspecialty training and who have not previously been the Principal Investigator of a NIH research grant or contract.  The applicant must be a Board Certified Pediatrician doing bench research.   Either the new application or renewal (links below) must be returned to the Department of Pediatrics Office of Sponsored Programs by February 28, 2007.  Applications will be reviewed and the funding decision will be made in May.
