About the Section

What if doctors could identify and destroy the very first cancer cells before they metastasize into a tumor? What if an abnormal cell could be removed and replaced with a miniature biological machine? What if pumps the size of molecules could be implanted to deliver life-saving medicines precisely when and where they are needed? Institute investigators address such scenarios by studying protein groups. The goal is to develop medical interventions at the molecular scale to cure disease or repair damaged tissues.
