As part of the Pediatrics Residency Program at the University of Chicago, all categorical pediatric residents are expected to engage in a Residency Project over their 3 years of training.

Our definition of a Residency Project is a scholarly investigation into any health-related question or problem and is intentionally broad.

Who helps me?

The Residency Project Mentors, your Faculty Advisor and Program Director to help you develop your ideas until you choose a Core Mentoring Team.

When do I do it?

Throughout residency PRN, at least 1/2 day equivalent per month.
