Research Interests
Dr. Abe is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics. He holds an NIH R01 grant for the study of a novel lung mitogen‑activated protein kinase. Specifically, he is studying the role of members of the mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK) family in airway epithelium and lung development. Dr. Abe is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and spends his clinical time attending in the pediatric intensive care unit.
